They flew halfway across the world for him — Dianne Buswell emotionally admits “I’ve never felt love like this” as her son meets his maternal grandparents
New mum Dianne Buswell has shared a heart-melting family moment after revealing her parents travelled all the way from Australia to finally meet baby Bowden — and the emotional reunion says everything about her new life as a mum.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 36, who welcomed her first child with Joe Sugg, 34, on March 16, took to Instagram to post a series of adorable snaps showing her mum Rina and dad Mark doting on their newborn grandson. And the joy was impossible to hide.

Alongside the photos, Dianne wrote that when “Aussie nanny and pop pop arrive to see baby Bowden”, she had “never felt a love like it”, capturing the overwhelming emotions of the moment as three generations came together under one roof.
The visit marked a huge milestone for the new parents, who have been documenting their first weeks with Bowden — full of sleepless nights, emotional highs, and a whole new routine — with fans closely following every update.

Dianne even went the extra mile to make the reunion special, decorating her home with a “Welcome back” banner as her parents settled in, with the family enjoying quiet walks and precious bonding time together.
It comes after the dancer opened up about the intense reality of becoming a mum, revealing she had endured a “very long day” in labour and hinting that “a lot happened” during the birth — a moment that clearly left a lasting impact.

Since then, Dianne has also shared glimpses of her recovery, including time spent in an oxygen chamber, while candidly speaking about the challenges of night feeds and adjusting to life with a newborn.
The couple, who first met on Strictly in 2018, chose the name Bowden for their son — later clarifying its pronunciation as “Bow like How, not Bow like Row” — with his middle names Mark and Richard paying tribute to Dianne’s father and Joe’s late grandfather.

Announcing his arrival, Dianne previously shared a tender photo holding her baby’s tiny hand, writing: “Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg. 16/03/26.”
And now, with her parents finally by her side, it’s clear this new chapter has only become even more emotional — and even more special.
